Welcome to Ameg Lodge Kilimanjaro is based at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Northern Tanzania.  Set in a 4.5-acre area, it has been constructed with local Tanzanian materials and designed to combine antique African, and modern contemporary styles, creating an articulate and seductive ambience.

Ameg Lodge is ideal for those visiting Moshi and its surrounding areas.  It is the perfect base for those taking on the Kilimanjaro Challenge and is indeed popular for the pre-climb night as well as the ‘Celebration Night’ on the return from the Kilimanjaro trek.

Whilst the lodge is located just a few minutes' drive from Moshi Town Centre, the tranquil setting of the Lodge creates an atmosphere of being in the beautiful, remote African Bush.  This unique feeling and the special Ameg Lodge touch have made it the preferred choice of accommodation for the business and corporate traveller as well.

The Lodge is also in proximity to the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) and the International School Moshi (ISM).

  All Standard Rooms offer:

  En-suite washroom, Air conditioning, Satellite TV, Telephone, Complimentary Wi-Fi, Security deposit safe, Private verandah, Beds fitted with mosquito nets, laundry service on request. Additionally, some Standard Rooms have inter-connecting doors, making them ideal for families.

• Junior Suites

  The Junior Suites, in addition to the Standard Room facilities mentioned above, also offer:

Dining

Adorned by our collection of African artefacts and beautiful masks, our restaurant offers a variety of Continental and International cuisine.

The restaurant is generally open at:

Breakfast: 7:00 to 9:30

Lunch: 11:30 to 14:30

Dinner: 18:30 to 21:30

However, the kitchen staff are more than happy to assist our clients outside of these hours. Please do not hesitate to let us know of your requirements.

The restaurant also offers a comprehensive snack menu, which can be enjoyed at the poolside too.

Fitness Centre & Pool

The Lodge offers a serene swimming pool with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. A fitness centre equipped with a large variety of gym equipment, also offers a range of fitness classes in the studio.

Transfers

Transfers to and from the airports as well as other locations can be organised through the lodge.
